Just a wild ass guess, but if you have a cat, smack it with a hammer. If it rattles, maybe it is breaking up and getting clogged. Could definitely cause intermittant power issues, though I've never seen it like you've described.

Nice pics. You should get a pair of mechanix or soemthing though, those gloves look like something my grandmother knitted for my sister in 3rd grade  Or at least get them in pink!

Also, while nobody is certainly a great looking girl, if she were to hold a nice Rickenbacker in her last pic, and ...

Cheap MR2 Turbo

Just found this if anyone is interested, no affiliation etc,

http://boston.craigslist.org/car/39894675.html

'92 MR2 Turbo, couple little problems but sounds like pretty easy fixes, for $3500. Really good deal, I'd buy it but I need a good winter car, and this doesn't exactly count :x

Mmm, turbo ...

O'Neil Rally School

Has anyone ever attended a rally school or visited in person? I've been interested in the O'Neil school as it is only about 4 hours away and looks fantastic from their website, but it is a lot of money even for the 2 day school. Any thoughts? Who wants to start up a fund to pay my way? Oh yeah, and ...

Hell if he's in Texas, I hope they catch him and he gets the chair. Don't mess with someone else's ride!

Yeah, I think they said "The 20b done blow up good!"

Back when I did tech support for a large networking/hosting company, every so often someone would call in with outrageous questions, ideas, and plans. No details, just thinking REAL big. Problem is ...

Yeah really, it's great to see the car being driven like that. FOERST time I took the Miata off road (on purpose) I put a crack in the oil pan on a big rock. It really sucks that even if I had the money to buy an STi, I still wouldn't drive it the places it was meant to be driven, cause of how ...

Heh, I get the feeling I should be looking for a truck 8) Any opinions on what to look for? I know precisely jack about trucks. I'm sure a late 80s import would probably be what to look for in terms of reliability vs pricing. Any particular info I should know, good models, bad models?

What kind of winter beater should I get?

Having just moved to Massachusetts, I'm starting to get worried about the upcoming winter. The Miata, when shod with Blizzaks, kicks serious butt in the snow, but only until my ground clearance runs out. A Miata is not a great snowplow. Also, the softtop sucks in the winter, and silver hardtops are ...
