beer at the track is steep too, and you can't bring in coolers, and it's a looong walk to the parking lot, (lol) if I could get tanked on my own beer $15 might be ok. Emergency only flights and we will have at least a 10 minute warning. Cones will be ok. I want to use every square foot of this place. I want the planes landing the next day to see the tire marks and say WTF went on here.

Update: I met with the Airport people, the Chamber of Commerce, The City Commissioners, The Tourism Board, and even the Guy who keeps the place looking great. I get there and they give us a golf cart and tell us to go where ever we want and to watch out for airplanes. The place is used for mostly ai...

All suggestions are taken with serious consideration. Really. I don't want this opportunity to get past us without making the most of it. If it's successful they want to do several a year.

I have 2 friends in Thomaston that I have known for over 10 years, Working on this for months now.Both are on the city council and some local boards. This isn't drifters begging for use of a lot, they are asking us to come. It don't get sweeter than that.

There is so much paved area I'm thinking multiple courses. And yes open to all. I am going to meet with the Chamber of Commerce tomorrow at 11 am then with the airport people later in the day. There have been many meetings preceding this one and so far everyone is on board. If this one is successful...
