It's a URAS type 2. Originally I ordered the type 1, like on the old car, but they sent type 2 which is a little bit wider.

Still to do: suspension setup, door windows and getting it road legal, wich will be the hardest step

indeed it is. but if you have a look at other manufacturers race engines i´d say its quiet cheap.

no v-tec? boring ;) i need an LS7 right now, haha. i started asking for some prices of these things when i saw this clip. you could get an brand new, entirely build LS7 race engine, with fancy bits and C/F cam covers, better dry sump system, custom intake manifold, ECU (mapped on a dyno) custom exha...

i think its just because we are mostly used to garrett turbos?! this borgwarner has afaik roller bearings and they are famous to be strong. maybe its because of the longer / bigger middle-piece?!
