AMS again anyone?
Who want's to do AMS again? I have been talking to the Tracks Unlimited guys and we want to do this again. Maybe with a few changes. I was so busy I didn't have time to talk with a lot of you personally. I need your opinions on how the event went and suggestions on future events there.
Questions:
How did you like:
The Road course?
Media Lot?
"Parade laps of the big track ( Oval ) for spectators and drivers?
Using the NASCAR indoor pit area?
How could we improve the event?
Feel free to comment on how your day went. Thanks - Howard

I wasn't there, but having run it before.... Yes. I'd spend all day on the road course, anytime pit garages are available they are awesome, I don't need parade laps because I'd just do the track day as well.

I'd love to do another event there.
Media lot was good for the beginners and for finishing off tires that were too worn for another session on the road course.

[quote="Roadkill"]AMS again anyone?
I thought the event went very well. So much track time, pretty much can't have enough tires. I also skipped some of my media lot sessions to save tires for the road course. 30 min break isn't enough down time to mingle, cool off, and change tires. Parade lap was fun, though it's not he type of thing I'd do regularly. NASCAR garages are awesome. Spectators straggling along the straight of the road course started to bug me later in the day.
