I know! I havent even looked for any yet so I have no idea what it would take dollars and work. Ive seen the team thump 510 with a VQ. Just seem like it would be a cool mill for a 510.

Alot of people don't consider it, but you said "Cheap" right? The VG30ET is a cheap motor, easy to pump some power out of, and would fit beautifully in that car... just a suggestion.
BUUUUUT... if you can get the VG, rock the ever loving hell out of it.

I found a proper mill for the dime. It is a common swap for VW Beetles.
