what makes mounting a turbo lower better? Like on some of the SR20's and 1J or 2JZ's.....I'm lost.

the theory is, less heat in the engine bay Anthony.

but air travels through the engine bay and down the firewall, under the car. one reason shimming the hood doesn't help on most cars, it ruins the flow of air that the manufacturers have designed into the car.
