Vote on my new rims!

Post by jo »

Well since the stock rims for my car are 712 a piece, I think it's time to go for some works. Which do you like? I have favorites, but I'm interested in opinions! I don't know if I definitely want works, but the dealership carries work and can cut me a deal on a set. If you can find another brand you think might work better [and reasonably priced] post a pic of it!

All except the second set of wheels can be done in these colors...

Maybe some pink action would go nice with the STi logos.

These are my fave, but they are 3 piece and probably very expensive!

I really love the black racing sparco's but it would probably look lame if hooman and I had the same rims in different colors. They're cast and not forged as well...

Those SSR's are nice. Work makes a similar wheel that can be customized in any of their colors.

i would recomend not to get crazy with colors just leave them gunmetal or gold
i've seen LOTS of subies at vividracing.com and i think gunmetal are best looking wheels for the STI

now on the desing........... I like the second one [thumbup]

Yeah the emotions [the second one] are pretty nice, but I do see a lot of those and the gunmetal isn't as dark as I'd like it to be. They are, however, in stock at the dealership.

It all depends on if wheel wizard can fix my rims or not, I guess. Or if I decide to powdercoat them black.

These in PINK!

But you said you were gonna remove the stickers so I'd go with black.

I vote for O.Z. Superleggeras. One of my favorite wheels. I used to have a set on my Celica.

No, they only come in silver and gold now. They used to make them in gunmetal, but not anymore.

I really like the emotions!
and Im also entertaining the idea of pink. but I'd like to see a dark pink rather than a brite/florescent pink. imo.
All in all....just make sure you get a deep dish. no matter the rim or color.

Hurm. I vote for you getting two sets of Kosei K1s. 'specially if you're serious about drift. Put a set of really hard tires on one set, and some good rubber on the others.
*sings* my corolla breaks down more than your corolla!
