i am. to this day i'm still astounded by how this car feels when i turn in. of course they're totally going to waste on the flat, straight annihilated roads of chicago.

edit: oh yeah it should be mentioned that they were originally on tyler's gc8 so i am gifted to have such a friend that would bestow upon me his used coilovers. and also thx to g-thore for the install.

edit 2: why?

edit 3: is it because you want some technical insight as to their performance?

edit 4: because i don't know if i can provide that.

edit 5: what i can do is tell you that they make me go "AAHDHSHAHAHA!"

edit 6: does that help?

i guess they're holding up fine. i think i'm on year four or-so of mine. i think i'm well beyond the rebuild point (especially since i don't know how long they were originally on the gc) but i'm not really sure of what indicators i should be looking for. the car has always been rough as hell since install but it handles like it's on fucking rails.

i wonder if my girlfriend's bitching would be an indicator because it seems to have gotten progressively worse over the two years that i've been with her. now it's to the point that she refuses to ride in it which actually works out well for me because she can't drive stick so i never have to drive anymore when we go out.

I have read a lot about them being soft, still have no idea why the dude I might buy them from has 4kg springs for the rear. Might cut a deal on the flex and new dtss deletes he has.

For real! He is running 6/4, but Tein ships them with 6/5 which is still lower than any other FC coils I have seen. I dont know what to think, either its a good thing because they are probably not blown if he has that soft of a spring and they still ride OK, or its a bad thing because running such a soft setup blew them already.

I think I might hang on to the endz and look for something else. Even on full hard pretty much every review i have read says they are pretty soft. Then again soft is good! I like soft. I just dont like spending $700 on blown shit.

pants coilovers are 9/7, and they offer lots of other spring rates.

Yeah most everything is between 7/5 and 8/6 for FCs. Leave it to Tein to ship with 6/5 for Flex and 9/7 for Super Drifts.
