Sam [many of you met him on Saturday at drift atlanta] autocrossed his hachi on Sunday morning. Here's a video clip of it....there's a nice little slide in there!

---quote about the clilp from him---

Well, Sunday was the FOERST time I'd ever taken my GTS out for a hard drive. Cone-dodging it was. And I had a great time. Though my times were pitiful as a result of me trying to be really easy on her (since she's 19 and in questionable mechanical condition), and my dry-rotted, 3 year old 185 series tires.

Anyways, I was having fun, with my FOERST hard driving of a RWD car, so I try to push it a little on the last run (My runs went: 71 (testing out car, feeling roll and seeing how the tranny was working), 62 (pushing a little harder), 60 (trying not to slide at all), and 68 (started out hard. Jammed my wrist doing the following, then went really easy).)

Story goes that I was pushing the front wheels a lot through that turn, so I gave her a bit more to tighten my line with a little oversteer... Well it came on hard, and I was able to countersteer, to avert a spin, but the steering wheel Jamed hard at lock and jared my wrist bad, so I wasn't able to correct well, and took the rest of the run really easy because I was having to right-hand-only steer.

There is a clackety-clack sound in the vid. This isn't from me, I believe this is the exhaust of someone behind the cameraman.

YES!
That RULES! It's funny to see drifting in that lot that's legal!
I'm sorry to hear his wrist got jammed up in the process.

Where is Sam anyway... when's he joining up on the forum?
He's a cool guy!

It's tech finals week so he's in hell like the rest of us;) He probably won't surface for awhile...I dunno if he's a message board person though so we'll see:) I talked to him briefly over email yesterday. I want to plan a night out maybe next weekend or during the week for everyone to meet up and do go karts and maybe some drifting afterwards, and he said he'd be down to come along.

Where is this sam, anyway.
Currently in the CoC studying!

But yes. Wrist is A-Ok. It was just a jam, so I was okey after the run, Only thing that was seriously hurt was my pride. (But if you think that was bad, I'll post the vid of me spinning into a ditch on gravel. That one's funny).
