new tires

I got two nearly new sets of the yokohama advan AO48's for free. Any one ever use these tires? they look prety sharp and a lot of racing uses them but i just never have. http://www.yokohamatire.com/advan/default.asp

Dude, those are dick tires. And free?

I believe they're the stock tires for the EVO 8 but someone who actually owns one can correct me.

I forgot that you moved to Birmingham, we need to have a B'ham dM meet next time I'm in town.

What size are they? And where'd you get 'em from?

congrats man. i thought i was lucky picking up a couple toyo proxes fz4's for $15 a piece, but a048's for free....lucckkky.

You come to Birmingham? LOL i do not know anyone here I need freinds. I will check on the size, they are up at rivergate. My budy Will gets the from races when the spec racer fords are there and they throught them away at the end of the weekend so you can dig through the pile and get some that have like 2 laps on them. I think the get them at a cheap price or free cuz they through them away left and right. I Also think if you work a race you have dibs on the pile or stuff as well.

Believe it or not i was actually gonna put a set on my elcamino-lol. Lucky ass. BTW those are not the tires that come on the evo.

Occasionally. Went to undergrad at Samford and have friends and family that live there, but grad school doesn't allow much time for trips.

I'll let you know next time I'll be down.

So what tires do come on an Evo?
