Event Item Checklist

Post by andysapp »

Since the past three events I've participated in... I always manage to forget one important thing or another...
I've decided to make a checklist on what to bring when competing.

_ Tyres
_ Tyres
_ More Tyres
_ Hydraulic Jack
_ Jack Stands
_ Air Compressor
_ Tire Pressure Gauge
_ Helmet
_ Race Shoes
_ Driving Gloves
_ Mechanix Gloves
_ Toolset
_ Deep-Socket Tools
_ Torque Wrench
_ Extra Engine Oil (at least 2 qts)
_ Zip Ties
_ Duct Tape
_ Quick-Release Tape
_ Extra Large Trash bags (keep used tyres in for the trip home)
_ Regular Trash Bags (put the small stuff in when you clean out your car)
_ Extra Valve Stem Caps (I always lose them while I'm there)
_ Shop Towels
_ Pumice Hand Cleaner
_ Window Cleaner
_ Sunscreen
_ Sunglasses
_ Pen/Paper
_ WATER (tons of it)
_ Non-Salty Foods
_ Long Sleeve T-Shirt (some events require them)
_ Long Pants (some events require these as well)
_ Lawn chairs
_ Tech Inspection Paperwork (if required)
_ Your License
_ Insurance (Health Inurance Included)
_ Aero Bed (to help cram more people into the hotel room)

If you can't find all of this stuff... no worries. You would be suprised how willing other people are to let you use things if you ask.
If anyone has anything to add to the list... feel free to do so!
I'm sure I'll think of more items to add later.

What is SOCKS proxy server?
SOCKS is a networking proxy protocol that enables hosts on one side of a SOCKS server to gain full access to hosts on the other side of the SOCKS server without requiring direct IP-reachability. SOCKS is often used as a network firewall, redirecting connection requests from hosts on opposite sides of a SOCKS server. The SOCKS server authenticates and authorizes requests, establishes a proxy connection, and relays data between hosts.

HEY BROSEF...
Post another one of these... and I will SOCKS you with a ban... which would make you the FOERST ban in our forum's history. Don't make me do that.

Post something relevant to this forum or don't post at all.
