I can vouch for this. I think it may need a new rear bumper and a pass-side tail light - but other than that... it looks mint. Rest assured that we are listening to ALL the input from everyone involved - (Drivers - Judges - Track personel) and we will make adjustments as we see fit for the good of the series and the safety of the drivers. You know... all the positive posts in this thread by the seasoned members ( chronic-posters or posters that haven't posted in a while)of this forum reassures me that there is a great family on this site.

Well this is my FOERST post on here, and probably my last, and my opinions are just that, my opinions not anyone else's.
Let me start by saying, Andy Sapp, you sir are unbelievable.
Here is what I posted on Drifting.com
It is unfortunate what happened to Dennis. He did everything in his power to correct the problem but had no control. From what I saw in a few pics, there was a cone under the car, but, it looks like he had a broken tie rod or end. The right wheel was turned, the left wheel was straight.
His entry speeds were in the mid 50's all weekend. I would say that he was well above 40mph when he had impact with the K-rail.
Good thing is Dennis is ok, and looks like he has a few options out there on a new ride or building a new one to finish the season.

As you can see Andy, I never said it was driver error, or equipment error. I simply said it looks like from the pics that I saw that it could be. I also stated that you could see the cone under the front of the car.
The pics I saw, we looked at through a view screen from a camera on track.
I am sure if you had any respect for any of the drivers you would talk to Dennis directly and he would tell you that I spoke to him after the accident and explained to him what I saw in the pics. At no point have I skirted the situation, or tried to place blame on Dennis, as you inply that we have. I am also sure that he will tell you that I have worked behind the scenes to help him find a ride to finish the season.
Unlike you Andy and a few others on here, I speak words of truth and wisdom, not hide behind the keyboard and whisper things behind peoples backs.

i would have to guess from your post you are associated with NOPI DRIFT. If this was a tie-rod as you say that broke wouldnt there have been play in this item during tech inspection? Also when i tie rod does break you are going to have the tire and wheel pointing differently from the other. Remember drift cars run alot of caster, you know like your shoping cart, so when they arent tied together they instantly change direction.
The real problem is the complete lack of safety for the drivers with k-rails set so close to the course. Its quite apparent you only care about the crowds excitment and not the well being of the drivers who make it possible to hold events. Call it a professional event all you want but dont overlook safety and use pro event as a excuse. Fact is majority of drivers speed every thing they have to build their cars, plus the hundreds of man hours they have put in. If/when someone dies thats really going to cut into bottom line!

From what we saw at our FOERST 2 events, our tech is alot stricter than most.
Ask those who argued with my tech guys on minor things.
Better yet, qualifiy for a Professional license at a Drift Fury event, and bring your heap out to an event and try tech out for yourself.
Not sure if you are aware, but you can't drift from behind your keyboard at work.
As far as crowd appeal goes, sure you want every event to be huge, but you never want to sacrifice any safety.
The drivers approached the judges on the course layout and then I was told of the situation on the entry wall. It was corrected, I never heard anything else, nor did my staff on course safety till the wreck happened.
If you had been there, you too would have seen some really good drifting from some really good drivers on a really tight track.
Sorry you missed a good event with one unfortunate accident for a local GA. guy, but the underdogs did prevail at this round.

So you also looked at pics, me to, and i didnt see anything other than cones wedged into the control arm. So lets see you are saying that the impact of the stacked cones caused the tie-rod to break, basicly Nopi caused a unsafe scenerio by stacking cones, if cones can break tie-rod ends.
Why are dodging the subject matter? I wasnt there nore would i, well maybe if i did drove a heap and didnt care about destroying it on a bad designed course. The posts here are based on concerns of drivers safety.

I know a large percentage on here are drifters. That means that alot of others are not.
If he says he is a drifter, come to an event and show me, not talk about this is un-safe and we don't care, if he was not at the event or dealt with me personally.
Ask yourself, was the event unsafe if nobody was injured?
Was the event unsafe when only one car was unable to continue after making contact with the wall?
Was it unsafe if the wall was brushed 8 times, and 3 times were the same driver, Bill Sherman?
Has there never been a crash at a amatuer event or any Pro event?
Has Formula D never had a crash? Has D1 never had a crash?
We have never blamed Dennis or his car. All that was said is it could have been this, but we did see the cone and noted that.
Unlike most. I listen to the drivers and make changes at the events. If nobody expresses thier concerns, I have nothing to go on.
I just hate the keyboard race directors and safety officials that everyone on any forum seems to agree with.
