When you're going that fast... who even wants to try and catch you. On the way back from Nopi... three bikes went FLYING past me - I was directly behind a cop - the cop did nothing. They were going too fast, and there was too much traffic to snag'm. I was suprised to an extent... but even more suprised that someone going 140 over got nailed.

They brought this up on Two Wheel Tuesday and the host said that he thought it was fishy since the model he was on (R51 or something like that) wasn't capable of speeds like that. Maybe it was possible with a turbo or nitrous, but not likely. Said they should top out around 165. It's also funny that he was the sheriff's son. The way they clocked him was by aircraft. They radioed ahead and stopped him.

That's crazy! I didn't know he was the sherriff's son!
I wondered about the top speed of the bike as well... but I'm not completely versed on bikes. I bet he walks.
