It's the chassis code (like S13) for the Imprezza/WRX made around 96.

watanabe makes RWD conversions for the gc8 and gdb. that was my original plan for turning my gc8 into a drifter. then realized it would take a good bit more than just the RWD conversion to make it a solid drifter.

so i bought a cheap s13 with an sr20 swap instead.

listen to the foilman. if you want a drifter buy rwd.
