Being a factory effort is it possible for them to build it then just say its a factory car with an ultra low production volume. Like a Scion tC X-treme!. I know tires have to be produced in a certain volume to be valid in fd. Is this also true of cars?

I think that it would resemble that of most other racing categories or classes...a car has to be in production to a certain ammount to be allowed to compete...main reason this is kinda confusing me...this is a serious drive-train modification...
I know that for touring car racing there has to be a certain ammount of a certain vehicle made...thats what made cars what they are today...competing in Lemans, rally, and touring car racing...Make the biggest baddest thing and produce it for the street and wait until next year and the other big dog makes the next bigger and better "stomp a hole in your rad ass" car...
Skyline GT-R R35 is reason enough...take down the puppies and put the big dog back on the block...
