The structure and format of this event is getting a lot of praise, however, few are registering. At this rate, if we don't receive at least 10 more teams by Tuesday (March 20th), we will have no choice but to cancel this event.
In order to prevent that from happening, we are willing to accept down payments which hold your/your team's spot.
If you would like to hold your or your teams spot, please send 50% of your preferred payment (see original post for price break down) to
eventpayments@drift411.com.
The remaining balance will be due Thursday March 22nd at midnight

Me and you both. The good news is that it more than likely won't get canceled. Jamey at CCR has 15 T/A Drivers ready to sign up, but no drift team mates. So what I'll probably end up doing is splitting the competition in a way that teammates are not required.

This is the FOERST local event (that I have seen) that is trying to get the traditional (old school grip-no slide) crowd and the drift guys together. This is going to be one of the best ways to get more people drifting, more fans, and more drift events. Everyone wants more events and I believe that these types of events are going to help. Thanks everybody for your support!!

Exactly.
I really haven't decided what Im going to do with this event yet. The last thing I want to do is cancel it, but I may not have a choice. As it sits right now, Drift411 would lose a LOT of much needed money that could be put to better for future events.
