Blabity bla bla!

Equal length uppers and lowers change the squat characteristics and help the car plant on throttle, transferring torque into squat in the rear. You need this for big power, otherwise you'll just smoke off them there tires with no chance of control. Factory AE86 anti-squat is designed to pivot close to the COG which makes it feel neutral on throttle but lets the rear get overwhelmed with a significant increase in power.

For you 240 guys, just pretend he's doing "subframe spacers" and roll center correction on his subframe or something...

As for solid axle setups, there are plenty: De Dion, Live Axle, 4-link, leaf spring, Watts Linkage, etc.
