Okay I know you guys don't have alot of cold weather knowlage of cars with you guys being in atlanta and all. I got oil change a month ago, I told them to put a heavy weight oil in for the winter now ever sence my oil presure has been low even at normal engine temps. Now I looked at the paper work from that change just by chance, num-nuts put a 25-50 wt in. I was like holy shit, so I took for another change.I had them put a sinthetic 0-25 wt in Right after the new change my oil presure returned to normal like 48-60, but after a week or so its now back down to like 5-10 so I don't know whats going on but I am very conserned about this. Every once in a while after driving 20 to 30 mins it will return t nomal I'm thinking may be the oil pump is damaged now with them putting the heavy wieght oil in, but I'm not sure. I really don't know how oil acts in cold weather, maybe its just because of the colder weather. Also I was looing on Nopistons.com and they were say that there is a by pass for the oil guage, so it could be that, But i'm going to take it in and have them look at it anyways. It could also be the guage. But if the oil presure was low or none, my engine would have died right?
Any Ideas?

Right the motor is running, but I;m not sure if I have oil presure or not. I'm going to take it in tomorrow to see if there is anything they can do about it, and to make sure that its all running right.

is it making funny noises. low oil pressure usually, and i use this term as a piston educated person, means that some of your clearances are wearing among other things. are the seats that the rotors spin on, lubricated directly from the e-shaft or otherwise. ar maybe your sensor got messed up from going from heavy oil to super light oil so quickly??? but i don't know a lot about rotaries. oh and by the way where exactly do you live?
