Motorcycles
Someone should pick this bad-boy up and give it a tune-up. It's a pretty decent deal. I'd look into the titling it dealio before I jumped on it, but should be like 100ish dollars and be relatively quick barring any actual problems with it's history.

Re: Motorcycles
still opens fine for me... it was a 1980 cb650 for 400, needs a tune-up and titling

I think it's just opening from your cache at this point, Zach.

Re: Motorcycles
yeah, must have been. Oh well. Would have been an awesome snag for somebody. I think it's old enough to where it can be titled with a bill of sale, especially since it would have been an in-state sale.Pittsy wrote:I think it's just opening from your cache at this point, Zach.

This could be a really cool long term project. Don't really know much about them, but it's fairly cheap and it could be a good way to learn or enjoy totally redoing something.
This could be a decent project as well:

It's shaft drive, so probably fairly heavy but could be a good start if you could get it a bit cheaper.

Re: Motorcycles
This isn't an Apple Sack reference is it?
Re: Motorcycles
hahaha
Yeah he sure does. It's in pieces waiting to be put back together. He's working on an xs650 right now and not in any real rush. He wants to powdercoat the monster's frame and do a bunch of finish work before he puts it all back together. Maybe he'll have it done around the time the weather gets nice again.Frosty_SPL wrote:Zach, does your brother still have his Monster?

Re: Motorcycles
If anyone's got some spare cash this is a pretty good deal:

could be turned into a really cool/fun bike with some effort.
