HICAS arm help?

Hoping someone can help a non-mechanic person here....

My R32 has the HICAS delete bar (aka lockbar) but over the last week or so I've noticed that the right rear wheel felt like it was loose.

Jacked it up, and sure enough....whole hub had some play to it.

Sorted it down to this: the adjustable arm that connects the hub to the HICAS bar (or lockbar) has some in & out play to the ball joint.

Here's a copy of of the Suspension layout, I circled the arm in question in red:

Actual picture of it:

And a little Quicktime movie of the movment:

The female part of the joint appears to be a solid piece. Is there anyway I can pop the ball out and replace whatever is under it that should be holding it in place? Or am I screwed and need a new arm?

(if I need a new arm...anyone know where to get one?)

Thanks in advance!

That's what I'm thinking....got the part numbers and expected prices.
Gonna go find one tomorrow.

I just hope they're the same size.
(but easy enough to take bad one with and compare them)

That'd be great, but we've got our FOERST road-course competetion here on Saturday, so I need to get it replaced ASAP so I'll have time to check it out and adjust it so wheel is straight and all that fun stuff.

But thanks!

Ya know, a 17 year old car is like a 17 year old child....I swear it does things JUST to piss me off.

Got new rear inner tie rod, simple install......took down to get alignment, only to find out that the FRONT OUTER tie rod on the right side is also going bad!

WTF!?!? Grrr......back to Autozone for another 300zx part.

Oh well, now at least I know the right side has good steering parts, and will be checking all the stuff on the left side just to make sure.
