Resurrection s13 build (bringing back the dead)

Post by J. Sharer »

Well lets just say its time to retire my s13 from drifting basically cause its my DD.. and i need it to stay my DD. So i figured it was time to start a project. And what a better car to use then a fellows DM's dead drift slut.
I picked up this shell this weekend and now its time to start the project.

Project list

S13 coupe shell(caged/tubbed front fenders)

KA24DE-R (possibly twincharged down the road)
S14 subframe conversion (i have one with all after market arms.. lol)
5-lug
Modded Knuckles for steering angle
Q45 brakes
Flares
Pignose lip/ oem sides. homemade Rocket Bunny wing (just toned down)
Coilovers (probably megan or PBM or something along those lines)

For wheels im probably gonna try and get some MB battles in 17x9.5 15mm offset (with s14 subframe it will make them 5mm offset lol)

Here is some pictures of how it lookes right now... (ill go ahead and say im sorry for the shitty pictures my camera is gay)

No sir he most definitely did not. That was a different Ambalambian. I believe that both he and I are equally embarrassed of that video. Besides, Brad doesn't play with KAs. He's one of them thar CA-heads.

yes sir it is. its works better then a jack stand and it saved 2 jackstands for when ever i need them.

but for a small update.. i got the block and head for this motor torn down.. and im gonna start cleaning them up and get them sent to the machine shop soon. and then i need to use my other block and head to start mocking up the supercharger intake. ( im not using the bullshit plate style like the thomas knight kit)

That's awesome.

Keep the pics and updates coming. I wish I did a better job taking pics for my build, but I got too caught up in the motor work.

Can't wait to see the supercharger mock up.

the pistons in that motor are alot worse then i though.. the rings where basically welded to the ringlands in the piston.. but owell i guess new oem factory cast pistons will have to do for now since im on a budget. but here is a small update on my intake mani build..check it.. lol it looks like a hack job now but it will look better i promis.
