Its on glass smooth concrete no curbs or berms. The coilovers are damped sufficiently but lack a little rebound dampining. My real concern is why is all the power being transferred to the wheel off the ground. It shouldnt do that considering the nature of the rear diff. But then again I could be wr...

Sad days: AKA make me an offer for an AE86.

The corolla got impounded as an abandoned vehicle while I was in virginia. I've gotta cough up 125-155 bucks to get her back. I'm being forced to either sell immediatly or scrap the car as junk. Clear title. Good motor. no differential in back. Make me an offer. 2000 will take her from you guys, and...

The continued attempts of youthful rotary zealots to try and express their motor in terms of reciprocating combustion components is really agrivating. firstly, displacement is a fallacy based on old thinking and history. It was originally a computed number to quantify the volume of air displaced by ...

I say just get some middle-rung tires, like some summer-rated pirelli's or something like that. They will have decent grip, good aquatread, and you'll be able to break them loose if needed.

I see no option for pink spray-painted stockers.
What's wrong, loosing your nerve? Pink wheels are where it's at. I'd do it, but then I'd just be jackin' your style.

all I have to say about pistons v. rotors is summed up here... http://snopes.com/photos/small/bigcat2_small.jpg because no matter how dumb it seems to post a picture of one big godam cat on this thread, it's smarter than starting a opinion-based troll-magnet thread, basically based on a lot of rx-7 ...

I'll take a turbine. GE or Rolls Royce, preferably, but a lyuanka low compression unit will give me at least 1450 shaft horsepower at a mere 1.5 lbs of kerosene per minute.

Any help towards that he could get out of getting rid of the white car (the 79 TE51) he'd love. The te51 is somewhat tempermental...

te51?

I got a friend with a 1979 TE51 SR-5 hatch that he'd be willing to seperate with for a decent amount. Strong 3T-C motor (strong enough to run on 3 cylenders when he forgot to put in the #3 spark plug), RWD, open rear diff (of course), 5 speed, and has a tach. original wheels and interior in good co...
