Nice! And in what little experience I had driving my old celica supra, the factory diff worked pretty decent and there are options to beef them up. You swapping the auto or leaving it for the time? Welded diff would put a lot of unwanted strain an an auto I'd think. If 5 spd, and you know how to weld, melt some metal and chirp around parking lots.

might i suggest some altima fans. they are a good bit slimmer than the civic fans and can move a crap ton of air
