They dip it in an acid based cleansing product before the powder coating process.



But, yeah, I'm not really feeling the cost associated.

yeah.. it's not worth it.. not when frames are so cheap.

on top of that.. acid eats at the threads and stuff. plus i don't think it's a good powder coating coverage inside that tank.

i honestly think they acid dip the frame and then coat the outside leaving the inside bare.

Yeah, I'm sure that's all they do. honestly, the only benefit for me would be that my lazy ass wouldn't have to deal with the rust and repainting. haha

I'm gunna get off my ass and get rid of the rust, and rattle can the thing early next week.
