I was kinda let down by the show tonight. I was hoping they would fix up the cars to bring them to modern day and race them/drive them/etc.

Instead they spilled drinks on themselves and filled the cars up with water for no reason.

That being said the hosts seemed to be a lot more comfortable, Rut's interview with Tony Hawk was pretty good.

Oh and I read that Adam Corolla is hosting a new show on speed that is suppose to be similar to "The Best Damn Sports Show".

Can't wait for the UK special tomorrow, looks awesome in the trailers.

I thought this week's US one was much improved as well, I found myself laughing at quite a bit of it.

Yes! It may have been the 100+ ounces of Newcastle I had consumed prior to watching it but I was laughing at a lot of this week's episode. The commentary, the challenges, dead-pan, etc all felt more natural and I enjoyed it a lot. Yes I have seen the corresponding episode of TGUK, it was better, but for the FOERST time the US show has been close to the same level as the original IMO.

I also finally accepted the choice of hosts. They basically have a representative from the major areas in the US and I think I am OK with that now. I hated Adam at FOERST but his car choices have class and I can get behind that.

I think I've watched my last Top Gear US. this week's episode was horrible. I don't think Tanner and Rut can hold it together with Adam.

Top Gear Apocalypse is a DVD special that was separate from the TV episodes. You can find it at the usual torrent outlets.

Top Gear Winter Special airs on UK Television in an hour and half, and will be available to download from Final Gear shortly after. The winter special was made because there isn't full season currently being shown and traditionally, Top Gear is usually either mid/late season during xmas.

apocalypse was kind of slow and quirky and missing clarkson (probably bc hammond and may didn't have anyone to tease).. but honestly.. it was nice to watch UK again.

it was awesome to see May rail on the F40 and the Aston Martin. :)

TG USA definitely isn't as entertaining as UK. They're basically doing the same stuff UK has already done (filling cars with water). Car selection for the test drives and challenges is also a big disadvantage IMO.
