The torque is actually pretty similar to the miata (well, mine at least) except that it's always there, not just down low.

I noticed that it appears to be dripping a bit of gear oil from somewhere, not a lot, maybe a drip or two a night, but I'm gonna throw it up on the lift anyway in the next week or so to see where its coming from. I also priced out new axles for all four corners since there's a) no telling when they were replaced last and b) a bit of driveline vibration at highway speed. I tried to fix the defroster wiring yesterday but the little connector is toast on the actual element so I need to figure out some way to reattach it. Looks like one of the POs tried to fix it at one time or another with some kinda glue which won't let the solder stick to it :

Also, are you free this weekend, geners? Maybe we can offload some of those parts we were talking about at the event.

Word. It looks like it's dripping off of the tranny brace so it may very well be that.

Did you end up blowing it or something? How bad is the old motor?

Just screwed one of the heads when the timing belt broke but when I took it off I saw that the block was cracked from what appeared to be an old headgasket leak so really aside from one head and the internals it's toast.

Shitty man, I'll keep a look out up here for ya. Not to many 2.2's come up for sale though.

Yeah they're few and far between if you're not buying from one of those rebuild places, but they start at $1200 and only go up.

I had a line on one before I lost my job and had to pass on it to pay the bills. I've got my feelers out on rs25.com and have had a couple pokes but one guy wanted too much and the other has more miles than the current motor and is on the other side of the country
