The biggest thing that turns me off of those is the turbocharger.

Well that and the gas tank that's the same size as the one in the Miata.

Ahhhh, that explains it. I was wondering why the needle sinks like the Titanic. I know my foot's heavy but it's still stock turbo 2L.

I have put almost 17 gallons in mine several times. Just like any turbo car you have to keep it in vacuum if you want mileage. I get as much as 23 mixed and 25 driving 5 over with cruise on, but if I lay into the 18 psi mine makes the mileage drops quickly. The auto trans doesn't help much either.
