Im really thinking of trading my xB in on a Subaru. Want something with factory AWD that I could lift a few inches and put AT tires on. Want a DD that can handle country roads easily, thats about it. Wagon if at all possible for the extra room. I know a few of yall have done this already so tips on which models to look at and what years make the best candidates would be good! I know nothing about Subaru haha.

any model Subaru wagon will be a good candidate, the NA cars have just enough power for a DD and get decent gas mileage. I've been really happy with my 02 WRX, I bought back in 2004 with 18K miles, only regular maintenance I've had to do, front wheel bearings, front axles, front brakes, radiator, I did have to replace the transmission because I was stupid.

there are subframe lift kits and springs on the market for almost every model.

Sounds nice, but its probably out of my price range with such low miles :(

This is kinda where i want to get eventually:

Fozzies are awesome. Once I get the OBS back on the road it's getting a fozzy suspension setup for maximum wheelgap.

Pretty set on a WRX wagon, orrrr a Forester. Wagon seems to make more sense based on my non-granola lifestyle, wouldnt want to give people the wrong idea. Forester looks nice though.

So the 105k timing belt thing, pretty legit?
