hey just curious, when other companies sell coilovers for corollas (that dont have new spindles) they expect you to weld your old tubes to the new coilover bodies? If so thats kinda crappy.

it's cool that those come with roll center adjusters, but they shoulda been negative camber roll center adjusters =p
i've never heard of such a thing, and upon searching, i only see stories (no pictures, all he said/she said) about them breaking in threads where people are trying to justify buying megans. i'll admit i don't pay a lot of attention to 86 forums, i've just never gotten the impression that greddy's are prone to failing.
also, what do you mean pants spindles are made as OEM? toyota doesn't make ae86 spindles. sooooo, what?

Re: pants AE86 coilies
Either weld on (megans) or Ksports slip into the shock housing thats attached to the spindle, you pull the stock shock out, and slide the ksport in.jsquared wrote:hey just curious, when other companies sell coilovers for corollas (that dont have new spindles) they expect you to weld your old tubes to the new coilover bodies? 3 of my personal customers have told me stories. I don't know if they're on any forums. But I've never personally seen it, I just trust their word. But I should've said "They Break" a little differently so I apologize about that. Rewind. I've heard of a few spindles breaking before, I don't know from personal experience. And they aren't Made as OEM, they're made in the same place that OEM Toyota Cast parts are made.kOOpA wrote:+1revel wrote:so you have seen or know someone this has happened too? if this is a regular problem i might consider me some pants coils and sell off the greddys.Black Guy wrote:Greddy spindles break....pants spindles are made from the same factory as OEM spindles...and have gone through a ton of testing.
