a 8 years of engineering and tweaking with an unlimited money budget s13 is like thrid in points yes. its also driven by a very accomplished driver. but that's besides the point. I'm not hating but there's no point in going pro in an s13 unless you have a shit ton of money or backing.

I'm not worried about going pro, just want to have a car that could.

little update?

One set on their way...

Image

We'll see how this goes.

Now I need:(kind of in order)
One more set of throttle bodies
350Z Trans
Tig Welder
Clutch
Adapter plate made
Need a flywheel made
Need to figure out my oil pan situation
Re-route my coolant lines.
VK alternator
VK starter
Megasquirt stuff
Probably some ls1 coils... eight to be exact
Need to make engine and trans mounts
Driveshaft
Roll cage
Tubing for front end

It's a lot... but I'm slowly whittling it down.

As soon as I have a free weekend to get some measurements I'm going to start drawing up the adapter plate and flywheel and start working on the oil pan design.

even though the megasquirt has come a long way, it's still antiquated.

I know I haven't updated this in a while but working 6 days a week at about 70-80 hours leaves very little time to work on cars. And on top of all that the engine in my little miata that could started knocking due to a botched timing belt job the previous owner had done.

In other news

Nissan 370Z Transmission, VK56DE to 370Z Transmission adapter plate, ACT "Race" Clutch, Custom VK56DE Flywheel officially ordered and on it's way thanks to Neo's Garage! https://sites.google.com/site/neosgarage/home

Can't wait for it to get here so it can sit another two months until I have time to do anything with it! :gonk:
