as of today i will be sporting a new daily driver. no more 300hp AWD demon daily driving anymore.

now the DD needs some work here and there-power steering line needs replacing/fuel hose needs replacing/rust needs to be taken care of/ebrake lines need to fixed........but it did come with an SR/DP/catback/FMIC/and a boost gauge that needs to be mounted....so let the fun/fixing begin.

Nice! Is that Alan's old car? I looked at the install last week after a 6am wrenching session at Batlground. I remember the install being pretty clean.

Congrats on the new ride, killa! We need to go for a spin in it!!!

its only a beater. so as long as it holds up for 6 months to a year i dont mind the rust. if it starts going to hell in a handbasket then i dont think finding a shell will be too difficult.

haha. completely missed your post andy.

thanks guys. its kinda hard to drive right now due to no power steering and it stinks of fuel from the fuel line leaking one drop every second (no stoagie smoking in this car till its fixed).

looks like i might need to swing by batlground tonite after work and see what mike recommends me to do.

grrrrrrrr. well..........do ya think 507garage can handle another 240 being wrenched there? i have no idea what i am doing. i can install/uninstall downpipes/exhausts/intakes/suspension pieces......never messed with fuel or power steering.

yea, we could do some stuff! i personally haven't dealt with a whole lot of that stuff either but it's likely that someone that knows what they're doing will be around this weekend and we could all pitch in to help :).

it would be a few good days of work overall, this shell still has the motor in it and you'd pretty much want to swap over all the interior. BUT, it would be one super clean setup when you're done.

maybe a dM swap party is in order?
