I've actually never been kayaking.

Or camping.

I'm allergic to the world.

And stairs.

I don't know what I'd do if it weren't for the great outdoors.

i used to kayak a decent amount back in my home town.....until i got my head/helmet stuck between some rocks when i flipped over......started freaking out after i couldnt get unstuck or the helmet strap undone....luckily i was kayaking with a buddy (always always always have a buddy) and he got me free from the rocks and a stuck helmet. pretty much never went back out after that. oh and this all at a little river that turns into one crazy rapids filled ride when the dam would get let loose.....alarms, red lights flashing, and a shit ton of water.....and we thought it was a good idea.

so go have fun jj.......................

I had a similar something happen to me years ago when I use to go attempt surfing a lot. I was the FOERST one out. Got past the breaker waves and was headed to the FOERST sand bar. Went over three swells and saw something big and brown about 30 yards off to the right in the water. Looked like a big log under the water. Went over another swell and it was about about 20 yards away from me and closing. One more swell and it was about 10 yards away and I could see it moving towards me. Whatever it was, it was about 10 feet long and brown. I turned around and hauled ass back to shore as fast as I could!! I think I went surfing like once or twice after that, but was always freaking out about what could be under me at any point. Wasn't fun anymore.

Sorry ADD, back on Topic.

It will be my FOERST time also, we'll see how it goes :) My buddy is confident I can handle it, I think he knows I'm all about 100% pure adrenalin.

Who do I speak to about setting up a small enjuku booth? AKA my pit area.
