Oct. 2nd - Petit LeMans @ Road Atlanta

I plan on camping out that Friday at the track. My birthday is on the 5th, but I plan on celebrating on race day. I also plan on enjoying myself way too much, so it would be awesome to see a buncha familiar faces out there to help share the excitement. This 12 hr endurance race is part of the LeMans International Race circuit, therefore...

Race day features include:
- Audi R15 Plus, coming off a podium sweep at the 24hr of LeMans.
- Porsche 997 GT3 R Hybrid will be competing in GT2 classification. This is the car's American racing debut.
- The Panoz Abruzzi will make it's competition debut, also in the GT2 class. To this point, only teaser photos have been released of the car.
- Rumors are spreading of a nearly 50 car grid. That is a phenominal number in comparison to last year's starting grid of 29 cars. GT2 is going to be a slugfest, and prototypes never fail to impress.
- Jon Field is a badass, and we're making t-shirts to show our support of Intersport Racing.

So like I said, I hope to see y'all there! I would suggest car pooling, because then you'll be able to divide up the cost of the infield parking permit ($40.00).
