i agree but in regard to rd atl pro-am tech, you should have seen some of the cars that attempted to come thru, with the car owners/drivers thinking it would pass....scary. either some people have no reading comprehension, or just think they can skip that section. lol and some of the guys tried the same crap last year..wheel bearings..etc.. mostly common sense things.

saw some of those cars.......seriously think reading anything was completely tossed out the window on a few cars. how can you not have a diagonal bar in the main hoop and think its anything near a proper cage. saw some really dumb shit lining up at tech.....all i got bad check on was no muffler and i have worm clamps on my high pressure fuel lines and they want me to use those cheap crappy clamps that tighten down with a screw off to the side.....ugh. have never had a single issue with my current fuel lines. if i were to change them i would just go AN lines.

I will know Wednesday. I am meeting Brian from SWD at the airport in Thomson for some "testing". I'll find out what we can and can not do under their insurance plan. I personally like cages for tandem but think fire suits are overkill. But it's his call. Using them for the insurance is keeping the event cost down.

Howard,

Are you doing any kind of waiting list or can I sell my spot directly to someone? Things are looking grim for getting the car usable in the next couple weeks :(
