By the miracle of empty fuel tanks and loose wastegate lines I made it back from ECB with some good tires, so I made a last minute decision to run at the KMS evet at AMS tomorrow. It's a practice day, not a comp. I get a 20x20 paddock spot so I can park a support vehicle too. Anybody want to park inside with me? It would be awesome if somebody with a tent did. I don't think you get in free as crew, I'll pay the $20 entry if you bring a tent.

Anybody else going? Online registration through tonight is $100. $115 at the door.

It was a practice event but they still gave out trophies for stuff like fan favorite. I think these were for "Loneliest Drifter" and "Sweat Like Old Man".

More like "Best Red Mist" and "Most fucks not given"

I'd be interested in a review as well. glad to see you got 1st in the wing eating and the KMS Kuties contest!

The event was a blast, tons of seat time, 22 drivers. Track was in the media lot, the one with the long curved wall where many of the NOPI competitions were, so the FOERST turn was 3rd gear sweeper FUN!. The inside was more open than I like, plenty of room to choose your own lines. No cage tandem was a huge bonus for others. Though I didn't think they should allow ride-alongs except for drivers in that case. The staff was good, ran things smoothly and on time and really seemed interested in making sure the drivers are happy. Turn out was low, but given the 4th of July timing and SWD event in Charlotte it's expected. I'll be at the next one I hope.
