U.S.Drift presents "Back to the Leaf"

Post by sande »

If you are pre-registered for the cancelled "Be my Valenslide" event for February 20th, you are carried over to this event. The price will be the same. The tentative date is Saturday, March 12th, the definite on this will be made public on Friday, February 11th. If you still want to be issued a refund for the cancelled event, please respond back to the email sent out at 11pm on Wednesday, February 9th. If you want to stay pre-registered for the March event, do nothing and we will see you there. The mall is in the city, we will be like 500 yards from main roads, there are tons of places to eat, sleep, and do whatever nearby. We will be using the whole lot (side and rear) unless hell freezes over and the oceans turn to blood. Bring extra tires, lots and lots of extra tires. Ask anyone who has been.

And I'm sorry there is no J.C.Penny's at the mall , so no 88mph for you!!1

Tentative Event Details (as of 2-9-2005)

All day practice drifting event at:
Cloverleaf Mall
7201 Midlothian Turnpike
Richmond, VA 23225
Registration & Tech: 7:00am - 8:45am
Mandatory Driver's Meeting: 8:45am (DO NOT BE LATE IF YOU PLAN ON DRIVING)
Cars on Track: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Pre-registration $75.00
Event Day $125.00

***Please take note, the event date is not confirmed for March 12th as of 2/9/05, this is a tentative date done to keep the registration open and the same for the cancelled "Be my Valenslide" event, the confirmed date will be announced on 2/11/05.

if you aren't pre-registered, sign up here, as this event is always full.

haha...very true. as long as i've got the registration money (which i should) and my car will hold up for the trip, i'll definately go. i've been dying to get some good seat time in lately, ashford-dunwoody rd. doesn't make the best drift practice spot :).

shiz-you bought the KA?

hopefully the GC will be up to better drift specs by then. gotta get more comfortable with the 35-40mph drift and learn to control it.

is this still a practice event?

would AWD be allowed
