Need help getting ready for Nashville 4/4
Moderators: charlie, andysapp, CodyW, Rhoad Racing
Thanks for the wheel offers guys. I really appreciate it. I forgot how forgiving the Nashville lot is. I've got an almost new set of Ziexes mounted on Supras right now, & I'll hopefully trailer it to the event. My roomate is letting me use his truck (I doubt the Nissan would be up for it. haha), and I've got a lead on a trailer for the weekend.
Thanks alot Erin. Anything you have would be really appreciated. I figure I won't have time to get a seat in there before the event, but I can at least strap myself into the one's it's got.icantdrift wrote:i have an old harness you can have if you want it. in fact i have a couple of old ones that might work. i'll have to dig through the basement and see what i have. i know i have at least enough for one good working harness.

I have a pair of 280zx wheels you can borrow, 4 stock wheels (2 steelies and 2 pizza cutters) that all 4 have at least 50% tread on them. You can have the stock corolla wheels with tires if you can make it up to Gainesville and pick them up. I'm not at home, but my brother will be and depending on the time I'm sure my parents will be also. Let me know if you want to do that and I'll let them know when you want to stop by. I have some TRD rear 6 kg/mm Race springs you can use if you want, they're for short strokes and work fine if you put on the camaro or mr-2 shocks, I forget which ones go in the rear. give me a call at 1-900-SEXYTIME Wesley.
^^ Got the number, thanks. I'll give you a call this week.
Now edit your post so your number's not posted in a public thread for all of the interweb's fucktards to see.
(MODS: If you see this before Zach does, can you erase his number? KTHXBYE.)

Well, had a busy day yesterday &, long story short, it looks like the Mach Five will be at Nashville this weekend.
I owe a HUGE thanks Chad. Saturday night, I had resided to the fact that I wasn't going to be done in time, but he called me Sunday morning & by noon we were all over that thing. Along with a few other little issues, we got the engine running much better, suspension on, & rear end adjusted. The motor still has a bit of an idle problem, but Matt thinks it can be cleared up with some attention to the throttle body. (Also, thanks to Scott for his advice.)
I've got a few things to address still, but I should be good to go. I still need to mount the harness Tyler had for me, & find a Toyota hub for the steering wheel Chad's letting me use.
It looks like the only thing that could hold me up, at this point, is I haven't been able to touch base with my "trailer guy". If for some reason he falls through, anyone from Atlanta have one I could use, or have space on their's for me?

yay!
I will survive in my mach 5
In my mach 5 I will survive
Yeah yeah
I will survive in my mach 5
In my mach 5 I will survive
Yeah yeah
I bring the hammer down
A tiny crushin sound
And Im in the yard
Smashing match box cars
An itty bitty crash
And my machine is trash
But Im blastin past
With chickie on the dash
Chickie on the gas
Go chickie
I will survive in my mach 5
In my mach 5 I will survive
Yeah yeah
I will survive in my mach 5
In my mach 5 I will survive
Yeah yeah
The firecracker blow
An urge overload
The wild plastic fire
Smoke from the tire
Layin a little patch
Without a single scratch
Between the hammer and the rock i
Can see bright blue mach 5
Its my mach 5
Oh
Oh my goodness
Its the most beautiful little thing Ive ever seen in my life
Its blue on the outside and all creamy on the interior
Yeah
I cant bring myself to smash it
So I take it for a ride on a sunny summer sunday afternoon
Im riding with the top down
Riding with the top down
Riding with the top down
Hell I blew the top right of my car
I will survive in my mach 5
In my mach 5 I will
I will survive in my mach 5
In my mach 5
Yeah I wanna go
I wanna go
I wanna go
I wanna go
I will survive in my mach 5
