New drifting sanctioning body being created in Nashville.
Events will be held every other Sunday all year long in 2010.
You will be able to buy a $50 lisense that will get you in to these events for $25 per person. Buy a lisense at an event and get in that FOERST event free.
If you don't want to buy a lisense you can still participate for $40 per person.
The FOERST event will be held sometime in September at the Fairgrounds Speedway at Nashville.
More details soon.
One step closer.
Get your cars ready.
There will be an event at the Nashville Fairgrounds in September.
If it goes well (and it will) there will be one in October, November and December.
speaking of drifting in Nashville does anyone know any of the organizers of the Import Alliance show at NSS in July? They're doing a big car show/ redline time attack and would like to know if we could go do a drift run group.

yoshi does i think. they tried to get us to organize a drift demo thing like 2 days before the actual event last year. i worked the time attack on sunday and there was like maybe an hour of downtime on the track.
Yeah I actually saw that and just sent the guy a message asking him about it. He may be asleep though. I'm going to try calling him tomorrow and actually talking to him about it and see if there is any updates. Last year was a mess because everything was last minute including finding out that the insurance wouldn't cover it. They were also going to do drag racing but insurance put a stop to that as well.

im intrigued by this, there are lots of good parking lots outside the track, but if it is the parking lot inside the track, its gonna suck
actual track would be cool if you like walls and stuff
i didnt think there was enough demand in nash for this, guess ive been gone too long
