so, dan realized that my subframe bushings were all kindsa worn out, so we're currently in the process of replacing those. i'm just wondering if anybody's heard of any common causes for broken axle boots. i replaced my driver's side axle once we got back in town from FD weekend, and didn't have time to put my new aluminum subframe bushings in before we went to texas for the lonestar bash.

anywho, i broke the axle boot again. now, i know the subframe bushings are obviously going to help, because my subframe won't be shifting, but is there any other known reason for these to go out so quickly? my FOERST inclination is to raise the car a little bit to get the rear suspension geometry more horizontal.

right now the only modifications in the rear are bc coilovers about half an inch from fully lowered, soon to be ISIS aluminum subframe bushings, and wicked tuning toe rods.

thanks!

you need RUCAs like now.

also powered by max subframe risers. they help correct geometry plus they lower the rear about 1/2 an inch in the process. gonna have to move the ebrake cables out of the way tho so they dont get pinched. i love mine and they is solid!

i'm getting rucas soon, as i'm rubbing my coils on the stock ones, not cool. i'll check out the subframe risers, but after all the trouble we had getting the subframe in with the new aluminum bushings, i doubt anybody's gonna be stoked to help me get those in XD

I ordered mine yesterday, when I get them in I can let you know how it goes, or you can come hang out if you would like to.
