if you do it right and you ahve the pwer you will not have to clutch kick the whole time. i like to partice by doing anything as much as i can. but i suck so don't lisen to me
Well I have an 87 325, it has the weaker eta motor in it. I'm going to be welding my diff soon, and hopefully get shocks and springs soon too. I have sway bars right now, and all my maint. is taken care of. I might have to clutch kick to get it going, haha.
yeah i drove a buddies 325is at an event ( i drive a SR pwred 240 ) and I found my self clutch kickin da fool out of it and of course the ebrake. Practice doing figure 8 's ( not saying on the streets but ) and play video games!
Yeah I have a few driving games, but I usually go do a few things in parking lots at night when it's clear and safe. (for others, not me. lol)
Will driving a car with 100% lockup be a whole new world for me? Mine is open right now. Does it change the way the car slides that much?
Korey wrote:Okay, so shift lock is not really needed? What are the best/or your favorite drifting techniques? I know it varies according to the turn, but what do you find yourself using the most?
I was watching the drift bible on youtube.com (because I'm ghetto, or just haven't bought it yet) and it said you should start by practicing 180's and 90 degree turns using the e-brake. What else should I practice, and learn as a beginner?
Thanks,
Korey
