240 sr20 question?

ok a buddy and me are going to look at a 240 for him, but the guy who is selling it says that it needs a catalytic covertor to pass emissions( which i wish to point out blow, scrwe emissions). question is how hard is this. ill put up more specifics later, im actually heading out the door to go look at it with him.

If the test pipe (I assume thats what it has) is bolted on you can just get a direct bolt on cat. Or if its welded on or is just a straight custom exhaust thats another story, you will have to cut the test pipe out and weld up the cat.



I hate emissions btw!!!!!

ya its bolted in, he is thinking about stinking the old cat back in. but i second and third the screw emissions

they are not that bad just need to know what you need to do to pass them. putting a cat in it is not that bad 4 bolts.

Its my SR-20 and yeah its 4 bolts... Should be a peice of cake. Planning on doing it in the next few weeks.
I wish my lawn was emo... Then it would cut itself.

My take on SRT-4s... Yeah they are fast as hell... But I mean its still a neon.
