So my CRX has been down for about 2 months now and I've finally had time to look at it. It is not getting spark, I changed out the rotor and the cap. I am starting to think it could be the coil, is there a way to test the coil?
Another note, Last weekend I jumped the car, it started and ran for about 10 min. then died and wouldn't re-start.
I jumped it yesterday and it did the same thing. 10 min and then it dies and won't restart.
The coil is $80 and I can't drop the coin unless that is the fix.
Thanks.
it has been cool daily driving the s13 but gas$$$ and welded diff....
distributor coil?

I know the battery is crap, I just thought because I kept the jumper cables hooked up to the s14 while it was running that the battery or Alt. would not be in play.P.Haire wrote:battery or alternator. you can get them both tested for free.
Not much, got my s13 up to speed, feels great. I wish we has an event to look forward too.P.Haire wrote:btw.

I got my crx running, it turned out to be the ignitor, $90 and bingo.
note, did not take time to get it running until the 240 started being all weird.
