Found my problemo

Post by skylinesx »

looks like s13driftertb was right, my tire got into my fender harness. I temp. fixed it untill I can get it to my dads shop to relocate the wiring harness. Dug a grove in my tire about a 1/4 inch deep in a couple spots and there was actually rubber melted to the wires holding them all t/g. I had to cut a few of them apart.

I can see why some guys tub the front end for wheel/tire clearance b/c you can see where the tires hit the inner fender also.

get under there and start wailing with a hammer till its all flat. your hands will tingle and your ears will ring, but you wont scar your tires anymore. well maybe you will but not from the damn knives nissan left inside the front fenders.

yeah, the places on the front and back of the fender (where you can see bare metal bacause your tires rubed off the paint. )

do just like revel said and bang that crap flat :!:

and then make a plate to protect your wiring harness. :D

glad you found the problem, electrical problems sux

i would hit up were you were rubbing again with an off color paint so you can see if you are rubbing any more and change you suspension accordingly.

good idea, as soon i get a break from school i'm going to properly fix the wiring either relocate it or put a plate over it and then i'll hit it up with some wierd colored paint.
