How does powdercoating something that is already anodized work? I want to hit my tow-hooks with some black that will hold up better than paint... but they are anodized red.

I want to get some wheels done... but I definitely don't have the money for it right now... the tow hooks I can prolly swing though.

Also... is there such thing as a satin or matte black powder?

andy there's a gloss-killer additive ive never used, but its worth a shot: http://powderbuythepound.com/catalog/pr ... cts_id=789" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
that would be more to turn weird colors flat though, black they have a lot of options in:

check out all these different low-gloss, matte, satin blacks:

Any of those FOERST three would be rad. Which ever one you think you might get more use out of the powder on other things.

Let me know what you think it'd cost to do two of these thangs. Just the actual red hooks.

I would either get the Black Matte Tuscan (#2) because the gloss levels are the lowest, OR the high temp muffler black just because it'd have more use later on, but its more expensive... so probably the tuscan. I dunno bro, $40? that includes me ordering the powder. You just handle shipping, i'll make like $20.

thats the hard part, I want my Z32 calipers re-done, since I did it with spray paint when I FOERST put them on. The car is running now, so I dont want to leave them off for too long. What would the turn around be on something like that?

once i have them and powder, 1 day. if you break down the calipers, even faster turnaround, maybe have them done before mail ships out that day. i take payments FOERST so that i can order powder and have it on hand before parts, and also cause people bullshit. and you cant bullshit a bullshitter, i ate cocaine for breakfast.

andy, pm sent.

Have you tried the mint green flip flop on anything yet? Looks pretty cool from the pics, thinking it might be a candidate for my VC eventually.
