Nikon D40 and some accesories + 80GB Ipod Classic

Nikon D40 ~3 years old. The camera’s shutter button doesn’t always want to take so you have to hit it a few times sometimes. The reason I know it’s the shutter button is because it works fine with no problems when you use a little infrared remote, which will be included. It’s a D40 kit, it will come with a 2GB SD card, the kit 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 lens with a number of filters, a Sigma 70-300 lens with a built in autofocus motor also with a number of filters including 3 Neutral density filters. Other accessories include the screw on wide-angle attachment for the 18-55 that came with the kit originally as well as a cheap top mount flash. The camera will also come with a spare battery, the charger, the usb cord, the aforementioned 2GB SD card, and the no-name brand simple tripod that came with the kit. I’d prefer not to split any of it up but obviously won’t skip out on a decent offer. The shutter count is right around 38,500 and the camera has some scratches on it but other than the shutter button everything else works properly. I’m looking to get $350 OBO for everything, just trying to recoup some of what I spent on upgrading, and I will ship if needed. I’m only getting rid of it because I got a new camera; I still carry this thing on me every day. I’ll put pictures up a little later.


I also forgot to add this earlier, but I'm gonna get rid of my 6th gen 80 gig Ipod Classic. It's black, the back has the normal scuffing from being in pocket and it works just fine. It's the video/picture capable one so it also can hold your movies/pictures. I don't need it anymore so am looking to get something back out of it. I think it was $250 new, now they go for $200 if I'm not mistaken. I only want $100 if it goes to a DM'er. I'll put up some pictures soon to show the scuffing on the back and the screen. I've had it for ~2 1/2 years I think. It won't come with any headphones. PM me if you need my number.

Had to take pictures with my phone because the new camera hasn't shown up yet. When it does, hopefully tomorrow, I'll get some good pictures to show the minor blemishes to the body and very light scratches on the screen.

Yeah no biggie, I was going to toss it up on Craigslist tonight to see if I could get it out of here and maybe pick up another lens for the new one for shooting video!

Yeah, the shutter thing is only minor, I'm sure it would be a cheap fix.
