FS/FT 1986 Toyota Corolla GT-S
1986 Toyota Corolla GT-s
Vin-JT2AE88S9G0229886
Miles- 24X,XXX on Chassis and Approx-7,000 on Engine with 4,000 on Cometic HG and ARP Head studs.
Car was gutted but I am in the process of putting interior back in it. It has carpet, back seats, back deck, door panels, glovebox. It is only missing a few trim pieces.
The Good;
Car runs like a Top, recently replaced the alternator, No leaks/drips, Low miles on rebuild. Ton of spare parts included, some body damage present though a majority of i can be handled pretty easily, all rust has been cleaned out and car is primed and ready for paint.
Mods:
Full T3 Coil overs
T3 camber plates
T3 RCAs
Custom mandrel bent 2.5" exhaust to a vibrant muffler
C's Intake
front strut bar
Kirk Racing Bolt in 4 point Roll cage
Pan Hard bar
LCAs have been boxed
ISIS Aluminum Radiator
ISIS Silicon Hoses
Electric fans
Stainless steal brake lines
Wood Steering wheel with Momo Hub
TRD Diff
TRD ring and pinion
Bride fixed back drivers seat
Sparco Harnesses
15" konig rewinds wheels with Yokohama S-Drives
Car has been corner weighted and balanced.
Cons; PS removed, AC removed, rear end has a very loud whine but is still very drivable was told by Rob at R&D that the ring is scarred due to being installed improperly by P/O ( once again this does not effect driveability) There are a couple of rust spots that have been cleaned out, and couple body defects that are shown in pics below.
Spare Parts; GT-S transmission, spare 4agze block with GZE rods and ARP studs, Spare 4agze head, Spare starter, a total of 8 extra wheels, Extra dash, 2 gloveboxes. I am probably missing some stuff.
Price is $4500 Cash FIRM The only trades I will consider are anything that can tow. Truck, Van, Ambulance, whatever.
Thanks!

Re: FS/FT 1986 Toyota Corolla GT-S
How hard/much would it cost to replace the ring? Heater still work?

Heater works. I'd have a skilled mechanic change the R&P. You can put a stock one back in or Huy sent me a link to another 4.7 R&P set for $289.Mischif wrote:How hard/much would it cost to replace the ring? Heater still work?

I'm all for it if it means you'll drift your S13.

Re: FS/FT 1986 Toyota Corolla GT-S
i had 2 different 4.7 trd ring sets in my old hachi and they both whined, but stock 4.3 gears didnt. i think its just the trd gears that whine. the FOERST set was installed incorrectly and shaved the teeth SHARP, but the second set was installed correctly and still whined. just a heads up! 4.7 trd gearset FTW though, big time.PmartyX wrote:Heater works.
