'87 RX-7 Turbo II for sale
SOLD
Chris your going to club me over the head for this as well as a few others of you.
Daily driven project car needs to go to get my old '93 Eclipse GSX back.
Mods:
--Street Ported JDM 13bt
--3" downpipe that split's into two 2-1/2" pipes with N1 style mufflers w/ test pipe
--dropped not sure how much
--fuel cut defender
--hard wired fuel pump
--Odyssey PC680 mini battery
The car is a Turbo II so it has the big brakes and LSD rear end. Mechanically she runs great and I'd drive this car to Cali and back if I had too. With the street port she ran 14.5s at the drag strip and I'm sure it could be faster with the boost leaks fixed and a tune as she runs rich as hell from the street-port. Here's what I know is wrong with the power train:
--some vacuum leaks due to old hoses that need replacing
--5th grinds unless shifting really slowly
--oil pan gasket needs to be replaced
--crush washers on turbo for coolant and oil need to be replaced
--won't idle unless the O2 sensors are warm and the car is in closed loop
The car has No A/C or P/S I have the P/S pump but it leaks so it needs to be rebuilt or used as a core for a new one. I did not remove the pump the car was that way when I bought it. The car is gutted from the b-pillar back. The drives window switch needs to be replaced so that the passenger window will work again. A lot of the interior problems are just because the car is 22 years old. I originally planned to turn this car into a track car for autocross and drifting but it somehow ended up as my daily.
I have a master set of Energy Suspension urethane bushings that come with the car and are not installed.
The wheels on the picture are no included with the car but the car will come with a set of wheels with a good amount of tread-life left.

Throttle fixes everything. Love is kissing your rear bumper into a snowbank at 40 mph and not leaving a scratch. If hookers carried active differentials in their purses and knew how to use 'em, I wouldn't be married. Left-foot braking fixes everything the throttle doesn't fix, including impotence and poor self-esteem. Banging off a rev limiter while looking out a car's side window and slamming into a steering stop will cure cancer. If the car isn't moving around under power, you are a small, testicle-free squirrel. The handbrake fixes everything left-foot braking doesn't fix, including philosophical issues with most major religions and the heartbreakingly impossible question of what you should have for dinner*.
