Lazy sunday

Last sunday I was cruising craiglist looking for bikes. I saw a nice bike at a great price. I debated for a second, but eventually decided to go look at it. There was another guy looking at it when I got there, dammit! I had to wait 45 minutes for him to leave. I saw a checkbook come out and figured he was buying it. :scream:

I started to turn around, the guy who owned it came down and said he was just putting a deposit down but that guy was still only 80% sure he wanted it. I said I was 100% sure I wanted it. hah

Waited for that other dude to leave. The bike is immaculate. Looks like it has hardly seen the rain. Has all the maintenance records, owners manual and immobilizer keys. I borrowed cash from some friends so I could pick it up that night. Ive been riding it every day since. :slayer: I paid 3290. 7k miles. 2002 model. Ive seen shittier ones with 20k miles for 4k.

Im gonna chop the black beer tray looking thing off the back, and order non nerdy blinkers. Its got an exhaust, sounds perfect. <3

Gonna pick up some puma motorbike boots this weekend.

seeing how you'll probably sell it in a few months or so I'd keep it stock, but if you want to keep it for the long haul build it the way you want it.

be very defensive when riding, most people don't pay attention, especially enough to see a small item as a bike. just watch your ass, don't scrimp on a helmet or hardware i.e gloves, boots, jacket. congrats on the bike.

I took the class and they told us to ride like everyone is trying to kill you.

I got a nice Arai helmet, going to pick up boots this weekend. I have a hand-me-down leather teknic jacket, but it is super padded. Also got some sweet leather A*stars gloves.
