I wana new car. I sold the Starion and am thinking about selling either my CRX or the Miata. The both of them have some good mods and may be able to get good money for them. So here is my list i will link a ebay page or something to the goofy ones. LOL i like strange cars the miata or the crx is not quite starnge enough for me.

omg GTV!!!!1!!1 those are some of the most sexy cars evar. i saw one in buckhead with old school wire race wheels and the clover graphics, i about shat myself on the spot.

get an old toyota, they'll run forever. not necessarily well, but they'll keep going. although i am partial to old RWD celicas, considering i own 2 of them

oohoooh get a te27 corolla aka the mango, or if you reallly want to make me jealous a datsun 510 or 1st gen celicasupra.

That's my vote... those are so hawt! Hooman almost got one right before he bought the Duc. That would be a wicked drift car!

Well, the MKI MR2 is the closest thing to a go kart for the street. Mr. Sakurai, a former TRD development driver of the N2 Spec AW11 noted, "the car spun me around clean at Fuji Speedway ... I quickly counter-steered in a hairpin...but, it hit me like if I had no time to think...it's much like a F3 car I set up regularly...fast and unforgiving."
A truly fantastic and very underated car.

UR-Quattros are really cool too. I am a sucker for box flares. They are however extremely expensive to maintain and not really all that fast. Granted, they were an incredible car for their day, they are just no match for most late model sports cars.

Why no rotarys on the list?

Or get the 323 GTX for a pocket rocket.

Or recreate the late 90s Suby rally cars with a 2.5RS. Then you could kick ass at the rallycrosses, but those aren't really strange.

My vote is for the Italian or the 323.

I owned a MKI MR2 before I owned my 240... which is actually how I started drifting... The MR2 would turn on a dime, and it would get sideways very easily... then I thought... "man, I bet it would be fun if I could actually get keep it sideways without spinning it, now I know why drifters have so much fun". Great cars though, esp. for auto-x. Thing is, if its a daily driver a so dont do it... the space sucks, and the monotonous hum of an engine, although nice when you're out on a ride or something, is extremely annoying on long interstate rides. If you really want one, the guy I traded my MR2 to isnt liking it and might sell it. Red 1985 MR2... tipping the scales at 2190 lbs and on a good day in might break 100hp.

in the late 80's and early 90's there were a bunch of people into drifting AW11's. its fun watching some street dori videos of them, one would spin out and then the 3 or 4 behind them would spin out to not hit the guy in front of them.

Kamakaze AW11s... sweet....

Not hard to spin out of those things on big turns, but on the really small turns, its impossible... I could literally turn the wheel all the way to one side under GRADUAL acceleration and just be turning circles in full control of the car.... small circles... it was great... kinda miss it kinda dont
