I may have already asked this in the past, but I can't remember so get fucked.
What's the dissadvantage to drifting the Z32's? There don't seem to be a lot of them campained, so I figure there must be a weight ballance issue or something...

Re: ~ Post a Picture of Your Ride ~
kinda crappy motor, small aftermarket, still sorta expensive, HEAVY!
Re: ~ Post a Picture of Your Ride ~
pretty much this.. .the v6 turbo is seriously tight in the bay to work on.P.Haire wrote:kinda crappy motor, small aftermarket, still sorta expensive, HEAVY!
a RB'ed (25 or larger.. anything smaller is pretty gay) Z32 would probably be similar to a Skyline, SC, or Supra

I think the only problem is, that you need to take the engine out for nearly everything
but the engines are fucking awesome, 550 - 600 bhp on standart internals is no problem. Loads of friends are running them and they are fast. The only thing is, in germany mostly (only) the long wheel based version was available.
the short wheel ones without the targa top are uber cool. light, just like the S14. and the gerboxes from ´96+ are strong
the weight ballance is not too bad. dont know exactly but they handle good imho.
some facts of the last weekends mapping session on a mates Z32:
100 - 200 kp/h 7.1 seconds
0 - 300 kp/h was 29 sec.
on low boost high boost is not properly mapped yet.

There's a whole host of shit that you could say, for instance: I believe they all came with hicas (if not then most of the turbo cars did), they're pretty freaking hefty at like 3200 lbs from what I remember, the motors absolutely SUCK to work on/take out, and the after-market in the states isn't small but it's all fairly expensive (mainly because packaging is a problem on them because of the aforementioned issue). Way more expensive than other cars available. They're also really twitchy when side-ways in most cases, obviously you could set up the suspension so it wouldn't be so bad but to get a well set-up car would take a lot of money and a lot of work.
